Synergi enables new integration for Huawei inverters across residential and C&I fleets

Huawei is one of the most widely deployed inverter brands for European commercial and industrial rooftops to household systems. For asset managers and utilities building flexibility portfolios, that installed base has represented a lot of capacity they could see but not control as a single unit.

Now this changes with Synergi’s new direct integration to Huawei inverters, built in-house on Huawei's FusionSolar cloud API. This means, it is now possible to connect Huawei fleets to Synergi’s PV Manager, and monitor and dispatch that portfolio with Synergi’s VPP engine via API/MQTT from a utility’s trading desk or control system.

What the Synergi x Huawei integration enables

• Cloud-to-cloud onboarding: Huawei fleets connect through FusionSolar credentials with an OAuth-based authorisation flow. Onboarding a fleet only requires account credentials. Forget about extra hardware or complex installations.
• Remote curtailment: Send a curtailment command during negative price hours or grid congestion, receive confirmation the inverter has responded, and release it to ramp back to full generation when the event passes. Command status is verified within about a minute.
• Fine-grained control on residential-class devices: On residential inverters, the integration supports stepped, percentage-based power limiting. This is a control range many inverter brands don't enable at all in the residential class, and it makes Huawei-heavy household fleets unusually valuable as flexible capacity.
• Fleet -wide telemetry and monitoring.: AC power output, inverter status and fault visibility across every connected site, in one view. Huawei inverters also report grid voltage natively, turning a connected residential fleet into a measurement network for the low-voltage grid, exactly where operators have the least visibility today.
• VPP aggregation: Connected Huawei plants pool with the rest of your fleet into a single controllable portfolio on Synergi's VPP engine, dispatched through one API or MQTT feed from your own trading desk or control system.
